1. In the given case, maintaining work life balance has come out as the main issue that women face when working in the law firms. They are expected to maintain balance in their professional and personal life but due to the personal commitments, usually the professional life takes a backseat. Among the various approaches which will be applicable for workplace satisfaction and productivity, in my views, having a workplace which is quite accommodating will be the most preferred by the female lawyers. An accommodating workplace gives them the flexibility to work from anywhere and anytime. This way, the female lawyers are able to maintain a work life balance and can be more focused towards their job.

2. To motivate the female associates to self-promote more effectively, I will use the shadowing approach. Each female associate will be required to shadow a joint owner or a director. They will be having a hands-on in the lives of the top-notch people of the firm. This shadowing method will give them the idea of the amount of work handled by the directors in the law firm and also their capability in handling the same effectively. The female associates will become more confident and motivate to undergo the self-promotion.

3. In the current scenario where the standard of living of people is quite high, it is necessary that both the partners earn a living. This is the mantra for a successful marriage. Also there needs to be shared responsibilities between the both of them. Both the partners need to divide the family responsibilities among themselves. This helps in saving either partner from extra burden. Also the family must be planned when both the partners are prepared for it. There is no need to rush to have children after marriage. Having children is quite a big responsibility- physically, mentally as well as financially and hence both the partners must have the understanding of planning family when the time is right for them. This way, both of them will be able to maintain a good balance between their work life as well as their personal life.
