Bootstrap made HTML layout easier and more consistent. Users experienced a noticeable improvement in the average UI, and developers coded easier and faster. The biggest improvement came from Bootstrap's grid system. In short, a developer didn't have to be a CSS guru to get good results. Bootstrap's mass adoption since its release in 2011 highlighted the need for CSS to have an easier and more flexible API.

CSS finally has flexbox and grid, two ways that somewhat eliminates the need for Bootstrap and other CSS frameworks. So which is the right choice?

Bootstrap?

flexbox?

grid?

a combo of the above?

As you know well, the answer to any sufficiently complex question is It depends. I'll discuss the PROs and CONs in lecture. Nonetheless, you won't really be able to choose wisely on any particular project unless you have experienced the choices yourself.

use flexbox when single source you want to link and grid when multipleat a time. the main difference css grid layout and css flex box is dimension. css grid is designed for two dimensional layout while flexbox is designed for one dimension.
