Explanation / Answer

During the above process you can see a screen appears which displays a list of available quotas. Quotas template makes it easy to set the storage limits for many folders at a time. When you open the file resource manager then navigate to quota management you see the list of quotas you already created.

If you click on create quota then it will appear a screen, then you have to select a path and here it has shown user has selected C: Drive. So the data will store in C: drive. Then you have to proceed with create quota path and define custom quota properties. Here in this step you have to set the space limit and other notification options. When you click custom properties a screen will appear.

There user has set space limit to 500 MB and soft quota radio button. There are different kinds of templates you can see:     

So in this case user selected soft option and in next step user chosen threshold notification and when uses reaches 85% then in this case there will be two checkbox option like:

System will start sending emails to the administrator who can follow up with the user for the space limit notifications and the can take the necessary actions.

In the next step if user click the Event log tab and select check box next to send warning to Event log, when the user crosses the particular threshold and 85% space limit quota then event log warning would be written.

Then click Ok and click Ok to save the entire work.

If you choose the option Save custom quota without creating a template and then click Ok then it will not create template for the task but it will take the path you have given earlier.
