1.
I would prefer telephone over email and instant messaging because the very purpose of using a communication device is rendered futile in the other two in case the user is not connected to the internet.

ADVANTAGES
1: If your family members aren't physically present around you,you can resort to social media.
2:Social Media will keep you posted about all your family members collectively.
DISADVANTAGES
1:No matter how well knitted social media might seem,communicating with family and friends in person has no subsitute.
2:Social Media is very addictive.
3.
Advantages:
1: sharing is much faster. We can make use of protocols where only the person whom the message is meant for can see it and not the intermediate nodes.
I would still not consider sharing my personal resources on a shared network , because even the tightest of securities can be breached. There exists a key for every lock.
