Difference between Public and private cloud
Public Cloud: -
Example: - Google Drive, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, etc.
Private Cloud: -
Example: - Banking data hosted in their private cloud, they will not compromise customer’s data to get leaked.
a) While talking about technology leveraging and It resource ownership, public cloud such as AWS and Microsoft Azure provides the best feature as the cost of hosting it in these providers is less and even all the ownership belongs to the one who is hosting it on these cloud services.
b) So, when it comes to hosting VMs in cloud, both public as well as private cloud is good at hosting Virtual Machines. But the advantage provided by public cloud is more as they give lots of variation and out of those variation, you need to select the one which you required.
c) The load balancing feature of public cloud is unquestionable. These use several datacenters and these cloud service providers by default provides load balancing features so that traffic gets distributed among the clone servers.
d) When it comes to precaution and security od high intensity data, private cloud is the best option to go with. As the network used in private cloud is secured with several layers of security including VPN and firewalls. Data will be more secured in private cloud.
