Project Problem Statement
- Company is facing highly competitive market, leading to declining market share.
- Quality is declining.
- During April-June 2018 period, Argon Error Rate for Corporate Clients was 32.61% highest among all other error rates, whereas error rate for the small and medium sized buisness was around 2%.
- Percentage higher than 5% can cause customer dissatisfaction.
Project Objective
The objective is to come up with short term and long term actionable, achieveable and measurable recommendations for reducing the ARGON error rate by 25% for corporate plan setup by the end of July 2018.
In Scope:
- The company can hire good employees who can do data entry work properly.
- The company should hire experienced coder who can handle programming and coding nicely with no errors.
- After hiring the employees give them training, so to avoid further problems, and if possible make employees permanent only after they complete the training properly.
- If the goal is achieved of reducing the error rate by 25%, the team can rework overtime to reduce the lead time.
Out of Scope:
- Firstly company has many SME's who are working internationally in different time zone.So they wont be able to help us.
- Secondly due to peak season many of the SME's are not available.
- Also the setup team has very less data available, which are not enough for project analysis or the basis of which decision can be taken.
Project CTQ
- Proper plan should be made with allocation of fix days to all the phases.
- Maximum delay of 1 day is acceptable, which means there should not be huge difference between the planned time and implementing time.
Defict Definition
- There should be proper audit after every week, so that if there is any problem it can be detected and solved, before it impacts the company's image.
- The moment it is found that employees are not working properly there should be proper action taken against them.
Benefits
- The Finance Department indicates that Plan setup team can reduce over, $560,000 in overtime if the goal is achieved.
- The team can rework overtime to reduce the lead time.
- These will help to reduce the customer complaints and will also help in acquiring new clients.
