You may select a web design or development software tool made by Adobe, such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or Fireworks, or you may choose another popular web design and/or development tool that you are familiar with. After you have selected a tool, perform the following:

1. Explain the basic purpose and features of the tool you selected.

2. Why would a Web designer or developer choose to use this tool?

3. Is there a student version available?

4. Can you find free software with similar features that can perform the same tasks?

1)-There are many software tools available that can aid the web design and development process ,but I think WordPress is one of the best tool for web development ,customization and designing of a website.

Basically, WordPress (first release comes in 2003) is now the most popular web development tool in the market.

2)-Some Key Benefits that helps Web designer or developer are-

i. Very easy to use-

WordPress is very easy to use. It is very easy in WordPress to add new pages ,blogs, menus functionalities from the admin console.

ii. Easily Managed from remote devices-

WordPress is basically a web-based application so you can easily access or modify your website from anywhere in the world.

iii. No FTP or HTML Editing Application required-

WordPress is itself a complete system so there is no requirement of HTML editing software or any FTP application.

iv. Customizable-

WordPress provides many options in order to change look and feel of your site as per your use. You can add plugins and themes in order to customize your site you can also customize your site by changing the UI code.

v. Cutting -edge technology-

As WordPress is open source and very common platform, so WordPress constantly receive feedbacks for improvement by open source community. On the basis of these feedbacks, WordPress provides regular updates in order to fix bugs and provides new functionalities
