Hence Pat expects the sum of all accounts to stay zero. Pat uses the experimental transactional database BrandNu that is supposed to oer the ACID properties for its transactions. After some time, Pat nds a serious system fault: the sum of all accounts is dierent from zero. ACID property includes atomicity , consistency ,isolation and durability .which means accounting system's every part should work independently and each transaction should be treated as single different unit .consistency gureentes about preventing corruption in transaction but not from incorrect transaction .and one transaction should not affect other .these properties gives gurante of proper working of data base system even in case of errors .durability says if some transaction has been performed even after system failure it will be saved .
