Description: You know that Windows 10 automatically activates after installation if it has Internet connectivity. In this activity, you verify that your installation of Windows 10 activated properly.
1. Click the Start button and click Settings.
2. Click Update & security.
3. Click Activation.
4. Read the activation information for your computer. Notice that your product ID is listed here. You can also change your product key here if necessary.
5. Close the Settings window.

Question:

Note: Do not change Product Key that is already on your computer – you will only view it and report your findings.

Explanation / Answer

1. Click the Start button and click Settings.

After clieck on start button and went into the setting. There are so many system related settings in side it.

2. Click Update & security.

There is one icone related to  Update & security which is usefull for system update given by windows and security related update also given by windows.inside Update & security there is also some othere option related to how to stop updates and how to stop automatic updates. some time windows update take too much time and we need to wait for update the PC or laptop.

3. Click Activation.

After click on Activation button There are some information related my PC and also some option related to product key and how help how to add product key and also link to buy product key. now a days laptops and PC comming with windows so product key will come with inbuilt. or in older PC product key is temperory. so we need buy it and edit it in to the product key space.

4. Read the activation information for your computer. Notice that your product ID is listed here. You can also change your product key here if necessary.

my laptop come with windows 10 inbuilt so product key is already there and if windows is not inbuilt we need to add after puchesing it from outside or online.

product key is very inportant because of windows give us triel version only for some days. after that they will give warnning to purches product key. otherwise windows will no more in your PC.

5. Close the Settings window.

After closing the window i came back on my privious screen.
