For as long as 20 years his exploration has based on Digital Documents, both in format based (e.g. PostScript, PDF) and in structure-based (e.g SGML, XML) portrayals. The interchange of structure and appearance, and the change and control of digital documents, is quite compelling. His ongoing work on document segments ( COGs) in SVG and PDF empowers us to cut, paste and reuse bits of a document in these organizations. Another intrigue is in compound documents containing in excess of one document portrayal which empowers standoff markup to be utilized to cross correspond one portrayal with another.

His present work includes XML, XSLT, PDF, SVG, and metadata. A portion of this work is supported by Adobe Systems Inc. also, some by Hewlett-Packard UK. The HP work centers around dialects and advances valuable for Variable Data Printing - and to be sure this work currently incorporates an adjustment of beforehand created COG strategies.
