1. Barrack Obama can be considered as the most dynamic and influential leader in the history of America. He had an enigma, which was quite enlightening and an influence power based on negotiation. He, along with his transition team, had drafted a change plan for revamping the economy of America. He can be considered as a change agent, who used his great communication style to connect with his audience and influence them towards his ideologies. He had the clarity of vision about his plan of action from the time, he was doing his presidential campaigning. Barrack Obama can be truly considered as an inspirational leader. The central component of Inspirational Leadership is genuineness and the enigma to influence masses. This trait of genuineness makes them relatable and trust-worthy. The inspirational leader has the heart of owning his mistake and works in correcting the same. These kinds of leaders are very influential and are mass-attracters.
2. Transformational leader serves as a change agent for the society. They are inspiring, are visionaries, the torchbearers of new and improved society. Most striking feature of this leadership is the clarity of vision that they possess. The third aspect of toxic leadership i.e. conducing environment do try to instable their vision, but the instinct and courage of transformational leader fares past such negatives. Barrack Obama is one great example of transformational leader. A leader can influence the way people think and perceive things by exerting his transformational leadership. The charisma and inspiration of transformational leadership develops followers’ trust, overcomes their resistance to change and makes it possible for them to consider and undertake change. So they act as the motor and transmitter of innovative culture. Mahatma Gandhi can be considered as a transformational leader.
