I wish to discuss about Fiscal policy and Monetary policies.
Example: Direct tax structure which comes unders Fiscal policy, which reveals the sources and application of funds to the central governments of concern nation.
Type of policy it represents: Direct tax comes under Fiscal policy
Why: Taxes are the major source of funds to any government, if they were collected fairly and equally, it gives good scope to society to become stronger. If not, most of the people strugles alot and the government may fail at its functioning
Purpose of the example policy: as I said above, it is the source of funds to the government, lack of funds may leads to the undevelopment/under development of the nation. similarly, higher taxation leads to less surplus amount and less purchasing power. So, government has to conern these two and fix the tax structure and slabs.
Was it effective: Yes, in India, the tax policy is effective in nature.
Why: because, the number of tax payers are increasing in India year to year and the amount paid by the assessee also increasing year to year.
