INTRODUCTION:
Hacking, the term refers exploiting of a property.
It can done ethically or unethically.
Ethically to help the owner who forgot his passwords or files etc, with their rightful permission.
Unethically means, stealing or theft of personal information with letting the owner know about it.
There are many reports of stolen credit card, debit card details, stolen online accounts, websites, currency etc., these are done by Hackers.
Hackers can be anyone from a school to a senior citizen. In ASIAN countries like india and pakistan,, every year on their Independence days, the rival country hach their website and post some unsual and disturbing content.
Some hackers want to bring governments down, some want money, fame, some do it as their passion.
Types of Hackers:
1.White hat hackers
2.Black hat hackers
3.Grey hat hackers
4.Script kiddies
Every Professional hacker is a White hat hacker, but not every white hat hacker needs to be a professional hacker.
A person who hacks system for good purpose is a WHite hat hacker but heis not essentially a professional hacker.
1.White hat hackers are the professional hackers who works for Government agencies, security solutions etc., They tend to perform hacking on the property when told by owner to find out vulnerabilities.
They follow Professional ethics and a code. All the government laws about personal information and privacy concerns are looked into by them.
2.Black hat hackers are the exact opposite of White hat hackers. They are professionally well trained, but perform hacks without anyone's concern. They follow unethical practice. The usually do it for MONEY, FAME, or for destroying people's life. Their agenda can be anything.
The most famous Black hat hackers groups are " Anonymous, Lizard squad, etc., "
3.Grey hat hackers are similar to white and black hat hacker. They don't work for money , but they can destroy a website if they want to.
They don't follow professsional ethics or code.
4.Script Kiddies are the ones who run applications to hack without any knowledge in programming.
Hacking Consequences:
There are many countries who legalized hacking and teach every child to learn hacking like South korea, North Korea etc.
On the other hand there are many other countries who value the privacy of citizens and banned hacking.
Right to personal information privacy can be observed by many countries.
Strict cyber laws are enforced and many people who do hacking are warned by them. There are many open source websites who support hackinng inorder to find out their website vulnerabilities.
Conclusion:
Professional hackers can help out a corporation or destory it. Doing good makes them white hat hackers, bad makes them black hat hacker.
Every one has to value other person's privacy. It's ok to steal information from people indulging in anti-social activities and revealing them to cops for security of everyone. Except for this and hacking performed with owner's permission, every other type of hacking can lead us behind bars.
