Question

"Find and view several YouTube videos on unified communications. Identify the URLs for three that you think do a particularly good job illustrating the characteristics and capabilities of UC systems. Select the one that you think is best and briefly justify your selection." write a short two page paper about this topic, citing at least one major IT magazine or academic review. Focus on addressing the assignment statement at the end of the question. I am not interested in merely a 'book report', but your short analysis of the issue/problem the book wishes you to address. Thanks.

Explanation / Answer

The list of opportunities is growing very much now a days and things are getting bit faster than earlier and people are changes in the UC propective.

But here is my UC Features in present days:

- We must always be Presence, That means the knowing the availability of the other users
- We must have the Unified messaging in order to communicate and we must maintain one inbox for each emails, voicemails and faxes.
- We must always have the communication through the Integrated audio or through the web conferences.
- We must maintain the Instant messaging with people we work for and chat with them for better UC.
- We must always remember One number reach with whom we work and also we should Call one number to reach the individual
because the call must routed to a desk phone or cell phone or home phone according to the person availablity.
- We must maintain the option in outlook or web browser "Click to dial features" for better UC.
- We must Corporate all the domestic and international phone numbers and details
- we must always maintain the customer information
- Even in time of Disaster recovery we must make sure to make calls to other locations to ensure no call is missed
and data should be saved so that there might not be any loss of productivity.
