NAME THAT TORT Read the situation and provide the tort that is illustrated. Is the tort an intentional tort, negligence, or strict liability? Tell me about the requirements and how/if those requirements are met in the examples provided and what if any defenses exist for that tort. 1. Mr. Hooper believes that Billy, a local 18-year-old troublemaker, has been shoplifting in Mr. Hooper's small drug store. Mr. Hooper follows Billy toward the front of the store and then orders Bruno the security guard to stop Billy from leaving the store until Mr Hooper can find out if Billy has shoplifted any merchandise. Bruno doesn't use force but he is 6'5" and weighs 270, so he really doesn't have to.
