Question
1) Can a company like Microsoft prevent its products getting used without a valid license where either they get shared or where I’ve seen registry hacks or even sharing of a VM with the produces already installed?
2) There cases where piracy may not be such a bad thing, take for example, Adobe, which is very expensive. If people for example in poorer countries, who cannot afford this product, get an illegal copy for use, this can help them in their skills so eventually they could afford the cost and get upskilled in the process?
Explanation / Answer
If you post more than 1 qiestion, as per chegg guidelines I ahave to solve only 1 question.
2) This can be a good justification for using the pirated versions of the softwares. But we should also keep in mind that each and every product takes a lot of work to be build and a lot of money is invested to create it. If we simply use the pirated version, then we are just ruining someone else's hardwork and money. We should for once keep ourselves in their place and ask if it would be alright if we made some product and someone uses it for free. How would we feel? Also, it is a very less chance that if someone is getting a free produce, then he would pay for that even if he can afford. That's just te human nature. Also, the pirated softwares can contain malwares that could potentialy affect your system.
