we can give the following options while executing the command

-c : Create archive file

-z : Compress the file with gzip.

-v : Verbose mode ( allows us to know the progress)

-f : Allows us specify the name of the archive.

In the above scenario we are archiving the Lab_2 directory using c and f options. In order to do that Lab_2 directory must be within the set of files/ directories. In other words, we need to be in the parent directory of Lab_2 directory but not in the ancestor directory.
