Question

Part 2 please.

Trial 4 Remain in groups of three but have one of the players in trial 3 become the recorder in this trial. In this trial there are two players and one recorder. The table is similar to that in the first trial. In this trial the rules of play change. After the first selection by a player, the player may move to an adjacent cell if it is not occupied or has not been previously selected. If a player cannot move to an adjacent cell, then that player loses. In this trial each player is allowed 15 moves. If after 15 moves both players could still move, then the player with the greatest number of points wins. CS330 Spring 2017 Exercise 1 Page 2 To get an idea, player A is blue and player B is red. Visited cells are black. The first move by A is to [1,1] and the first move for B is to [3,3] 0 0 Player A can move to [0,0], [0,1], [0,2], 11,0, [12], [2,0], [021], or [2,2]. Player A moves to 12,2]. PlayerB can move to [2,3], [2,4] , [3,2][3,4], [4,2],[4,3] , 04 [4,4]·Player B moves to [3,2] 0 0 Player A can now move to [1,2, [1,3, 2,11,12,3], or [3,1]. After you have completed this trial, discuss the strategy for picking a cell.

Explanation / Answer

Part 1

a)

b)

a and b both are different because in a we have to generate a random number between 0,1,2 and -5 with given probability while b has to fill 10x10 matrix with 0,1,2 and -5 at random position of an array.

Part 2

Consider -1 as black colored cell,empty cell as 0 and 1 as player1 and 2 as player2
