Explanation / Answer
Solution:-
a. Researchers share their work only with colleagues and funders, and the research outcomes are typically not aimed at public beacuse potential misuse of research results can be happen. Research involving or generating materials, methods, technologies or knowledge that could be misused for unethical purposes. It has the potential to harm humans, animals or the environment.
b. Extending current research requires a thorough understanding of past research in the area as well as contemporary research efforts because previous knowledge base always help to discover new facts and results in that research field. Past research knowledge in the same field will always help for not doing the mistakes which were happened in the past research and it will be very helpful to improve the research. We can also try to prevent the past risk factors in that research.
c. Research means narrow focus, not broader application. No, this statement is not true i think so it is depend on positive thinking or negative thinking. If positive emotions involve in the research that will lead to the broad focus and if negative emotions involve in the research that will lead to the narrow focus.
d. It is impossible to apply outcomes of a single research study on a society-wide scale. Yes, It is true and I think it is the good thing, Because each and every research is not always true, mostly published research are false that's why single case study cannot make a good impact on society-wide scale. The best possible outcomes always obtained from multiple researches.
e. Yes, Research can be interdisciplinary. Interdisciplinary research means integration of all the methods and concepts used by the team of investigators. Cross-disciplinary research means to develop the new disciplines, view the discipline from another perspective.
f. Techniques exist to record and communicate research outcomes to a public audience. There are the various technologies like tailoring the message, using narratives, targeting the message to audience segments, framing the message etc. These strategies are very effective, these strategies will raise public awareness of the current state of knowledge in the particular area.
