This is something that we do not often talk about, yet is immensely important to a student's writing: style. You have already heard me speak about this a few times--you don't have a grammar problem as much as you have a style problem. And reflection upon how we attain and develop our own writing/talking styles is just as important as anything else we focus on in our writing. Think about the people in your lives that speak/write in unique and interesting ways. What do they do, and what do you do, to incorporate an authentic and mature voice?

The tone of voice and the style of writing/talking plays an important role in effective communication. From the people, I have been surrounded by and the ones who have been contributing to my team goals here are some unique things I observed making their voice mature and authentic:

An overall observation has been that these people are passionate about their writing and speaking skills. When it comes to a personal application for an effective style of communication I constantly update my knowledge and understanding of various subjects bringing innovation and new ideas to the communication and authenticity to the entire message.

I believe it is important to have a deeper understanding of your own personality & keeping our overall communication style honest and simple.
