1) Deming's quality :-
The definition of Deming's quality clearly defined the importance of customer satisfaction for a sustainable growth. He believes that quality must be about people always and not the products and services. The product must be in a consistent quality level so that it can suit the customers. He said that satisfaction of customers is really important and this would be done by providing them good quality products so that they may encourage their companions to try the products.
2) Chain reaction :-
Deming's chain reaction mainly defines that the companies must improve their products and service quality which automatically interests the workers to give their best for the betterment of the company. Also the production cost would become less when a company focuses on quality rather than quantity. As the workers would be motivated by themselves so the productivity would also be more which results in the organization's market share.
3) Deming's 14 points :-
Relationship with profound knowledge :-
Deming, in profound knowledge as well as in his 14 points told that Quality is most important for the long term sustainability and growth in an organisation. He said to remove targets, quotas from a workplace so that the employees can work in free mind. Also too much practices of giving rewards is unnecessary as employees may become habituated by that practice.
4) Four components of profound knowledge :-
Deming in profound knowledge depicted the universal knowledge for all the firms. He clearly told that an organisation can easily gain much profit if it takes care of the quality of products. As top management is most responsible for maintaining the quality level in an organisation so Deming said that higher level management needs profound knowledge most.
An organisation must remove quotas or any policies which can demotivate employees at work. He said that quality will only achieve when employees in an organisation is educated and skilled and they are using correct equipments for the process. It can be seen that the practice of giving rewards and punishments according to the performance actually demotivates the employees and they tends to work less eventually.
