Hi,
For a table to be in BCNF, first it should be 3NF and also for every functional dependency X->Y, X should be the super key of the table.
Here given primary key is GigId, which determines all other fields,
but we also have 2 other dependencies
locationId->Lname
bandId-> Band Name
since these two are candidate keys, these need to be separated out into different tables, like
locations(locationId,Lname) where locationId is primary key,
band(bandId, band name) where bandId is primary key,
so the main table becomes
Performance(GigId,GigName,GigDate,StartTime,EndTime,locationId,bandId)
