Explanation / Answer

Scrum is nothing but a type of Agile framework method for completing software projects.Scrum is a simple framework for complex software projects. Scrum mainly focuses on heuristic one, with respect for people and self-organization to deal with solving complex problems.

Extreme Programming (XP) is a software engineering methodology. Extreme Programming prifers adaptability than on predictability. The project life is a more realistic approach than to define all requirements at the beginning of a project.

An adaptive software development approach is based on observation control model. In this approach both the design and the process to create the solution are freaquently adjusted based on observation throughout the project.

DSDM is a catogiry of agile software development methodology. It is an iterative approach that is based on the Rapid Application Development (RAD ) methodology.

Feature-Driven Development (FDD) is agil approach to developing enterprise software. It is the combineation of key advantages of Scrum and eXtreme Programming with model techniques. FDD scales easily to much larger teams and projects than generally recommended for other agile approaches.

The main idea behind lean is to eliminate non-value-added activities and thus increase customer value. The Agile process becomes itself to a lean method for the software development life cycle.

RUP is a software development process of Rational and devide. It divides the development process into four distinct phases that each involve business modeling, analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment.RUP subdivides the project lifecycle into 4 major phases Inception, Elaboration, Construction, Transition.

Scrum is very effective methodology for complex heavy projects, because Scrum mainly focuses on heuristic one, with respect for people and self-organization to deal with solving complex problems.

DSDM is Straight forward framework to start implementing a project structure.Simple and easily Extendible, Hence it is suitable for simple projects.

To reduse reskis lean method is best method which reduces non-value-added activities and risks thus increase customer value.
