Network:
- Network is nothing but a group of computers and other devices that are connected in some ways so that able to exchange data.
-All these devices thought of as a node and each node contains unique address.
-Addresses are nothing but numeric representations that are easy for computers to work with.

Communication:
- Communication is nothing but a process in which two or more nodes trandfer data or information.
Ex: Sharing files, sharing printer.

Switches:
-Switches are used to connect multiple nodes(computers)on the same network within a building.switch can connect computers with printers and servers.

Routers:-
-Routers are used to connect multiple networks together as like switches but by internet. For example, networked computers to the Internet and thereby share an Internet connection among many users.

Network arcitecture:
-Network architecture is nothing but the layout of the network whhich consists of hardware, software and communication protocols and transimission mode(wired or wireless).

Network standards:
Network Standards are useful in almost every business and public service.Main advantage of using Standard is to ensure hardware and software can work together. Network Standards work for that customers are not locked to only one vendor.


International Organization for Standardization:
It is One of the most important standards-making for International Organization (ISO) makes technical recommendations about data communication. ISO is based in Geneva, Switzerland. The membership is composed of the national standards organizations.

International Telecommunications Union—Telecommunications Group The Telecommunications Group (ITU-T):
It is also the technical standards-setting organization which is also based in Geneva. ITU is composed from about 200 member countries.Mainly focused on public telephone companies in each country and ITU now seeks members organizations who operate computer.
