Question

I am trying to move files from my github account to my local svn server on my device. I followed the instructions listed on http://www.kerrybuckley.org/2009/10/06/maintaining-a-read-only-svn-mirror-of-a-git-repository/ and was able to import correctly. However, only the latest version of my github files got imported, how do I maintain the commit history from Github to my local svn server and have older versions available as well? Please help, I want to keep the same procedure mostly, I may be missing just a few steps that will allow me to keep the commit history and older versions of the files

Explanation / Answer

STEPS TO MOVE FILES FROM GITHUB TO LOCAL SVN SERVER:

2. Create the Mirror Repositories

3. Load Source Repository

4. Manually Set Sync Properties

5. Automating Synchronization
