Writing a Project Proposal on an Online Job Portal with more advanced features, a rating system for both employers and job seekers(For employers to rate Job seekers who have worked for them and same for the employees to rate employers. Also an option to upload Video Resumes and have Video Interviews scheduled on the platform.
I need any help i can get on the best most suitable METHODOLOGY to be used on this. And why? Also if i can get help putting together my Functional Requirements and DFD.

Hi,

You can follow either Waterfall model(traditional model) or RAD(Rapid Application Development) methodology.

I would prefer RAD in this case wherein I would start with Application analysis, Requirement GAthering and development. Then go on to improve the system gradually by adding advanced functionalities with course of time.

Reason for using RAD:

RAD which favors iterative development (wherein you can continuosly develop in phases) and the rapid construction of prototypes instead of large amounts of up-front planning. The planning is interleaved with devlopment phase. The lack of extensive pre-planning generally allows software to be written much faster, and makes it easier to change requirements.

About the Online Job portal - Provide a common platform for job seekers and Recruiters.
Recruiter post Jobs - When Recruiter post the job in this site, matching profile users see the jobs availablilty.
User Apply Jobs - If user profile matches then he/she can apply for the job.
Admin manage jobs - Admin Can see the details of a job posted and if necessary can delete it.
Admin Manage Recruiter - Admin can verify the Recruiter also & check the Company Details and if necessary can delete.
Admin manage Job Seekers - Admin can verify the Jobseekers and check the Details and if necessary can delete the jobseeker.
Manage Job post - Recruiter can check the number of jobseekers that applied in the job posted by that Recruiter and can also delete the posted job.
Upload CV - User can Upload his/her curriculum vitae.
Download Forgot Password - User Can Download his/her own Password if he/she forgot password.
Jobseekers Search Jobs(Anonymous Users) - Jobseekers can search job according his/her key skill or job category basis.
