As an organization, the main advantages of implementing cloud computing are as follows:
With SaaS, the latest versions of the applications needed to run the business are made available to all customers as soon as they are released. Hence the users will have instant access to fresh software.
Business agility: Getting the compute resources you need when you need them tends to shorten IT projects resulting in less FTE to deliver the project and a quicker and more predictive time-to-market. Being able to deliver results faster, cheaper and with more quality might just give your business a competitive edge.
High availability: Most of the cloud providers are reliable in providing their services, mostly 99.99% uptime.
With cloud computing, companies can reduce the size of their own data centers or even eliminate their data center footprint altogether.
Flexible Costs: The costs of cloud computing are much more flexible than traditional methods. Companies only need to commission – and thus only pay for – server and infrastructure capacity as and when it is needed. More capacity can be provisioned for peak times and then de-provisioned when no longer needed. Traditional computing requires buying capacity sufficient for peak times and allowing it to sit idle the rest of the time.

Shared Access: One of the key tenets of public cloud computing is multitenancy, meaning that multiple, usually unrelated customers share the same computing resources: CPU, storage, memory, namespace, and physical building. Multitenancy exploits are very worrisome because one flaw could allow another tenant or attacker to see all other data or to assume the identity of other clients.
Security: Using cloud-powered technologies means you need to provide your service provider with access to important business data. The ease in procuring and accessing cloud services can also give nefarious users the ability to scan, identify and exploit loopholes and vulnerabilities within a system.
Vendor Lock-in: Although cloud service providers promise that the cloud will be flexible to use and integrate, switching cloud services is something that hasn't yet completely evolved. Organizations may find it difficult to migrate their services from one vendor to another. Hosting and integrating current cloud applications on another platform may throw up interoperability and support issues.
Limited Control: Since the cloud infrastructure is entirely owned, managed and monitored by the service provider, it transfers minimal control over to the customer. The customer can only control and manage the applications, data and services operated on top of that, not the backend infrastructure itself. Key administrative tasks such as server shell access, updating and firmware management may not be passed to the customer or end user.
To handle these risks, the best is to pay attention to these areas such as 'Data security and regulatory risk': Adapt the existing data protections and compliance programs to the cloud. Make sure your in-house IT experts have the proper authority and clear responsibilities, 'Technology Risks': By updating the organization's IT infrastructure to match advancements in cloud technology, 'Operational Risk': One solution is to merge your operations and development teams. That can lead to a more integrated approach to advances in cloud technology — and less disruption, 'Vendor Risk': companies need to make sure their provider is complying with all the rules and regulations. Set up a system to manage relations and monitor its performance, 'financial Risk': Best solution is to assign people to budget, track and manage cloud costs. There are also third-party tools to help manage costs.

Now a days cloud computing because very much famous in the IT world. IT companies are moving towards cloud computing and almost all the major companies are already into cloud computing partially even though they are stepping forward to completely mould to cloud computing.
As discussed in the above post there are advantages and disadvantages as well with this cloud computing. Security breaches and all this thing's are very common even if you maintain all the things in the office also. All we have to do is carefully setup all the things and by constantly improving the security we can overcome that.
If we have observed that there are much more benifits are there rather than the disadvantages. According to my view if we have planned and Setup all the things with much secueity like for our data applications and all this thing's we can get only the benifits from the cloud computing. One or the other way we can get on the those disadvantages easily.
And now a days cloud service providers also working hard to eliminate all those cons. Their major concentration is on that only. Once we compare the cons now we will be facing with sometime back we may easily know how the standards are incresed and continuously improving now.
Actually in the above post they discussed about only one model. In Cloud computing we are also having two other models also that us Paas and Iaas which means platform as a service and Infrastructure as a service. According to our requirement we can select one. Each will be having different modes of services.
Because of the cloud computing it companies would be getting so much benifits like cost savings in the form of maintenance, purchasing equipment hiring Employees to take care about those thungs etc like this.
