Using examples, please detail below your ability to organise and schedule an event, activity or resource. Explain your planning and preparation of the event, demonstrating how you produced project plans in which objectives were clearly defined and action steps for achieving them were specified; established clear priorities; scheduled activities to ensure optimum use of time and resources and monitored performance against objectives.

Explanation / Answer
1) Planning and organising is the skill of managing the resources and evaluating how well we or others can perform a task and achieve the goal. The areas on which I worked for a better planning are:
- estimating the effort and time that will be required to accomplish a particular task.
- identifying and evaluating the resources available and that will be required in the task.
- dividing the tasks into small groups and setting a deadline to complete each of them so as to accomplish the full task systematically on time.
- identify measures to evaluate the results that come on every stage of task performance.
- arranging the tasks involved in a complete plan in a logical order, identifying the critical tasks which are to be prioritised.
- maintaining a planned to-do list and working on daily basis dor tasks to be done and tasks accomplished for the day.
2) Teamwork- Any task given cannot be accomplished alone no matter how skillful the individual is. A collaborative teamwork is required to achieve the goal. My role will be to identify the skills of each member in the team and assign the work for them accordingly. Keep a check on their performance periodically. Encourage them to work efficiently by giving appraisals and appreciation on the work done by them. Also monitoring the workers giving under performance is essential.
3) Analytical- to achieve goals, analyzing the aspects and working on them accordingly is an important factor. Analytical skills involves identifying the information, collecting and evaluating its effectiveness for achieving the goal. I will do the same while working on my project. Collecting the information and analysing it can diversify the problem in a task into segments through which the problem can be handled effectively. Analytical skills may involve many steps such as interpretation of data, detection of patterns, integrating information and making decisions based on all the information. I will use all these skills to analytically solve the issue in achieving a goal.
Leadership- leadership skills involve leading a team and making them work on the goals collectively by setting an example yourself for effective results. As a good leader I will give priority to my communication skills. This not only involves the capability of being a good speaker but the skill of interacting with all the members of the team, understanding their strengths and weakness and making them clear about the results expected from them. I will motivate them from time to time to work not only for the salary they are paid but put in their efforts and talents to achive the goals and learn innovative methods during the process. Motivation can be done by counselling as well as setting an example yourself of what we expect from the members. I will identify the skills of every employee and delegate the jobs in a task to them accordingly. Being a good leader doesn't mean doing the jobs yourself but instead delegating the right job to the right person and keeping a check on its progress. Being a leader doesn't will build a trust amongst the team. They are comfortable in working with each other as well as regard me as a capable leader will be important for an efficient team work. Being a leader I will be creative and innovative. Working on the same patterns just because they have brought results in the past is not the new trend. Identifying new prospects and also welcoming ideas from the members of the team should be the way to work in a team. As a good leader, i will take the responsibility of any failures of the team also. Success gives appreciation to the leader for the work done by the whole team. In the same way failure should also be accepted and reasons behind it should be identified and eradicated.
