Operational – processing transactions or for data analysis.
Backup – short term copies of organizational data, used to recover from system-related disaster. Backup data are frequently overwritten with newer backups.
Archival- long term copies of organizational data, often used for compliance and reporting purposes.

If your network is wireless then the devices connect through wireless routers as wireless networks don’t require a hardware connection. The benefit of networking is that file and data can easily be transfer from one computer to another. Moreover, the connected computers on network can use single internet connection when they are networked.

All computer networks work on a certain standard of sending and receiving information from and to the computers. These standards and rules are known as network protocols. All information shared on network is always in small data packets or in bundles. Every network protocol supports certain packet transmissions or packet switching technique.
Type of network protocol will be decided on the basis of size and nature of the network protocol. Through network protocols, computers can identify each other on the network.
Network protocols accommodate certain web browsers, applications and software on networked computer.

The Web, or World Wide Web (W3), is basically a system of Internet servers that support specially formatted documents. The documents are formatted in a markup language called HTML (HyperText Markup Language) that supports links to other documents, as well as graphics, audio, and video files.
