Before explaining to you all that is written in question, I would like to introduce you to Minitel. It is Videotex online service which has been made available through the telephone lines and is considered as one of the world's most successful pre-WWW online service. It has no particular inventor but it was a team effort led by Bernard Marti who is at time the director of Centre commun d'études de télévision et télécommunications.

NOTE: France has stopped the use of Minitel in the initial years of 2012.
