6-6 Visual anlytics is the use of software, data models and graphical and visualization tools to give meaningful insights for large amount of data. These tools and softwares help a user to break down the data in his or her hand, visualize large amount of data in a nice way, and make estimates and predictions. Some tools also allow scenario generation, where based on these past parameters, and if some parameters are tweaked how could the end result change. With such tools, user can make more sense of the data, and hence can make better decisions.
