For any company, the product safety should be of high importance. They cannot play with the safety of the users if the company knows that the product can harm the users even in a small way. The company should at least try to inform the users in the form of a message on the product or mention the same in one of their marketing campaigns. They should also be very transparent with the product and is hidden functionalities so that the user is aware of what should be done and what shouldn't be. Even with the defects in the product if the company keeps promoting it as an excellent and safe product then the approach becomes a big lie and it proves that they are trying to deceive the users. Sometimes the companies create aggressive marketing campaigns masking the negative aspects and never try to educate the people about the reality. They make use of the face of celebrities and try to sell the product without clear communication. Advertising is good when the company is trying to communicate the right message. It becomes misleading when they hide the truth and take customers to a different track where they talk only about the positive part. A company producing a product worth 100 dollars can price it at 150 dollars to make a good profit but if they price it at 1000 dollars then it becomes exploitative. A lot of popular companies in the market are doing this and this is a wrong practice but the companies make the users blind using their marketing and PR activities.
