Ans to Q1- Effective manger use freedom available to him to regulate office behavior of particular individual or team. Motivation directly result in personal benefit or loss and conscious of loss benefit influence to quality work.
Providing motivation- motivation is broadly grouped in two categories positive motivation and negative motivation . Positive motivation is reward and negative motivation is punishment.
Example of positive motivation, it involve assigning more challenging task, providing more job freedom, and example of negative motivation is withdrawing existing assignment, and curtail the work freedom.
Regarding individual positive motivation, it involve increments in salary structure, promotion to higher grade, additional facility and negative motivation involve demotion and suspension from work assignment. Where as in case of team positive motivation is providing maximum work freedom and negative motivation include withdrawal of assignment .
Ans to Q-2 - Cause of intergroup conflict - Each group of employee & its member respect his/there work. To maintain this respect its essential to maintain harmonic relation with other individual or other group. When any team or team member develop conscious of superiority than another individual or team, this behavior develop uncomforted or develop unwanted interference with the freedom of another individual or team .And this kind of direct or indirect interference / influence result in conflict. Taking it positive its kind of competitiveness,but taking its negative it's kind of complex and it develop bottleneck and avoid individual or team to take risk and poor relation.
Ans to Q 3- Decision are made according to estimation of value attached to work.Now question is it ethical to give different value for two different task or dose it violation of equality and ethical one. Here more importance is given to time factor. Each task or work holds different value according to time and place. If place is proper & time is proper and situations are favorable then it terms as ethical, if any of the attribute viz time, place and situation is missing then its unethical. For example- in case of delegation of self task without permission from higher official is unethical but situational factor arose & if its demand of time then its also ethical not to wait for confirmation from head office.
