The most suitable staffing policy for managing a series of retail stores in Asia will be a mix of polycentric and geocentric staffing policies whereas the lower and middle level positions will be filled by the host country nationals while the top positions will host the best talent from the industry. In Latin America, the mix will be of ethnocentric and polycentric because of the proximity with the U.S. Here, the lower and some middle positions will be filled through host country nationals while top positions will be filled by transferring some of the existing manpower from the U.S. or selecting few of them locally.
