Explanation / Answer
First of all we have to know what is communication device?
Communication device:
It is a hardware device capable of transmiting a signals whether it an analog or digital signal over the telephone, other communication wire, or wirelessly.
For example we take computer modem.
Computer modem: It is used for sending and receiving a signal to allow computers to talk to other computers over the telephone.
like this having so many communication devices were there.
1.network interface card (NIC),
2.Wi-Fi devices, and an access point.
Now we will discuss about the Duplex commmunication:
Duplex : "Du" means double and "plex" means "structure" or "parts of"; That means we can understand that
A duplex communication system is a point-to-point system composed of two conncted devices that can communicate with one another in both directions.
eg: A to B over one path, and B to A over the other.
They are two types of duplex communication systems:
1. Full duplex
2. half duplex
Full duplex:
Full duplex is nothing but simultaneously or parallely both parties can communicate with each other.
The best example is Telephone. In telephone call can speak and heard by the other party simultaneously.
Half duplex:
In this system half-duplex each party can communicate with the other but not simultaneously. At a time the communication is possible in only one direction.
The best example is walkie talkie
