Make a mapping of the users and groups needed to manage a medium-sized company. We'll use XYZ University as an example. With about 100 administration and staff employees, 90 faculty, and 300 plus part-time workers (adjuncts and the like), what are the following needs:

·        User accounts

·        User Groups

·        Organizational Units

·        Computers

·        Domains

Define each in your mappings (you don't need to show each individual user, just an example of each). Don't forget about the different departments needed. (ex. Financial Aid, Advising, Enrollment, each college, etc.)

Explanation / Answer

In this case users accounts should be created for every one in the organisation. And the group's also must need to be created according to the departments in the organisation.

For example in the xyz company there are 100 administrative and staff Employees are there so that in this we need to create administration group and staff group.

And we need to assign the administrative Employees user accounts to the administration group and the staff users accounts to the staff group .

Like this we may have many domains in the organisation like administration, office staff, development, admin's, finance department, hr department, like this .

So now we need to create users for all the Employees and need to assign to the particular groups. So that no one group person will have the same access as another group Employee because accesses will be given to the groups according to their roles.

Computers might be same for all the Employees same in the sence configuration and setup might be same but the data access and computer login will be different according to their groups assigned .
