CLOUD COMPUTING:-IT is a computing technique used to handle the various programm applications over the network.it is two words ,first CLOUD which means metaphor for "the Internet," so the phrase cloud computing means "a type of Internet-based computing," where different services — such as servers, storage and applications — are delivered to an organization's computers and devices through the Internet.The term Cloud refers to a Network or Internet, Cloud can provide services over public and private networks, i.e., WAN, LAN or VPN.

Cloud computing is based on service models. These are categorized into three basic service models which are -

1.Infrastructure-as–a-Service (IaaS)

2.Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)

3.Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)

so if one is representing a company doing e-commercial,thenthey will need to use Pass ,platform as a service,because it includes service in web-server,database,technically It is a layer on top of IaaS as the second thing you demand after Infrastructure is platform..so if any customer uses e-commercial site ,they will have there choice,

iaas paas saas 1.provides you the computing infrastructure, physical or (quite often) virtual machines and other resources like virtual-machine disk image library, block and file-based storage, firewalls, load balancers, IP addresses, virtual local area networks etc. provides you computing platforms which typically includes operating system, programming language execution environment, database, web server etc. provided with access to application softwares often referred to as on-demand softwares. You don't have to worry about the installation, setup and running of the application. Service provider will do that for you. You just have to pay and use it through some client.
