The end of the Program Increment (PI) and the related sprints or iterations, the project is completed and delivered to the client and after a phase of client or user acceptance testing the product was accepted and made live by the client. The objective of the project was to develop a User Interface for your client which will be used by the home office and field of the client employees and also their users will also be able to use the User Interface in order to get details and data related to their profile and also any product. The goal of the PI was to developed and deploy the User Interface to the client environment and make it go live which we have accomplished quite diligently and the performance of the product delivered is being monitored in order to ensure quality. There has been few things which could have been better in the process and the most important of that is the use of the latest technology which our client preferred but because of feasibility and knowledge issues the team developed the User Interface using the old version of the technology. The performance will not be affected due to this but there will be compatibility issue of the User Interface while accessing it through smart phone and tablets because it does not poses the feature of responsiveness according to the system. We are planning to conduct an enhancement in the near future in order to make the User Interface compatible with all devices, and we need to upgrade our knowledge base and adopt new technologies so that such issues are avoided in future projects. A successful project implement depends on various factors starting from progressive proposal to acceptance of the product and in order to make everything work as planned, proper administration and monitoring of the work is required. The administration department needs to be aware of the product details from a business perspective and they will ensure proper delivery within the stipulated time and budget. The administration team will forward the details to the project team and it will consist of the details like project start date, end date (which will be days before the actual delivery date), budget, parameters that will be judged, etc. The team will also schedule status meting on a weekly basis in order to get updates about the project status and details. Organizational structure is very much important in this context because the information about the project should be properly communicated to each and every stakeholder and there should be no discrepancy, everybody should be in the same phase. If any issue is not getting resolved by a particular person the issue needs to escalated to the next level because time is a constraint so quick response is expected and any violation should be escalated. A project's success depends primarily on the performance of the team working for the project and with the given success it can be stated that the team ha lived up to the expectation. The project manager was selected based on knowledge on this particular domain and along with him there were technical and business analysts to assist. A team was formed were members were recruited based on parameters like technical knowledge, business knowledge, experience, attitude towards work and efficiency. The team was an aggregation of managers, mid level employees and even fresher which provided diversity and everybody cooperated which resulted in success. Knowledge transfer programs were scheduled by the seniors and the junior employees attended in order to obtain proper knowledge, so that things become easier. Various new technologies were used along with latest tools and unique management skills which resulted in success. As already mentioned that proper project management is the key to success for any project and if we look at the details of the project we will observe that the aspects of project management has helped the project achieve success. Preparation of budget, Team formation, Monitoring, Risk Analysis, etc. have been applied and everybody has cooperated and as a result the project has been successful. The client has accepted the product and have conveyed that the users are satisfied with the User Interface they were looking for. The product adds value to their business but they are looking forward to make the User Interface more compatible which will require new technology and they are expecting enhancement from us.
