Say the good thing about the discussion below and try to add something to it to improve it (at least 5 6 sentence or more)
web and mobile development and being a prolific software user
In general, UIs (user interface) should follow the convention of the host system. A desktop app or website should not simply be minimized for the mobile version. Doing so fails to take advantage of mobile device capabilities (e.g. gestures), sacrifices readability and the size of touch targets, and disregards the user's reasons and expectations for using a mobile device. Similarly, going from mobile to desktop deserves serious design consideration. Neither should an app UI for one mobile platform simply be copied to a different mobile platform. For instance, Android and iOS boast slightly different UI controls and style guidelines, so any ported UI that does not conform to the target device risks feeling "alien" to the user. The same applies to desktop apps.
Convention also applies across UI components and gestures. Windows are the foremost example in demonstrating how adhering to a cross-platform convention saves time. To quickly close, minimize, or maximize a window, users can usually rely on finding the appropriate buttons in the upper corners. Pop-up ads of the most annoying caliber exploit this instinct by generating the buttons in an unconventional location, forcing the user to grudgingly scan the ad looking for them. Further, imagine the ensuing chaos without standard gestures for common actions like zooming and panning. Not to say that some products don't benefit from breaking convention. Think of Tinder and their fresh use of gestures that became so iconic, the "left-swipe" is now a universal term for rejection. Nevertheless, in general, conforming to established UI designs and playing to the user's previous experience can be helpful.
Finally, considerate UI design empowers the user to act like they have complete control over their experience. This partly entails eliminating or limiting pop-ups and audio/video autoplay. (Certain MySpace pages come to mind...) In addition to being an unwelcome distraction and cluttering the UI, such components can intimidate a user and turn them off to using the product in the future.
Explanation / Answer
The good thing about the discussion is , it tells about the various features and the qualities of the UIs provided to the different users. Though the quality of the UI may vary with the devices used, as different devices and brands have certain conditions applied with them but on and all the overall UI provided is the best. Though some of the features of the devices are minimized by shifting from a desktop computer to a mobile phone/tablet but most of them are covered.
There must be an option so that the user can have the same quality of UI on the smaller screen as well, like making the website visible on the phone as it is displayed on the computer though this may need some extra time but should provide all the features as on the desktop. Because of that user can have the same experience on the smartphones as well. Some gesture features mat not be supported on every device but every device has its own qualities and features which makes it different from the others. The same interface should not be copied on all the devices as it may lead to some boring experience for the user.
