Some changes might not be able to be done due to the time limit. In terms of due dates, the sponsor’s might feel the inability to impact or control on due dates. Lastly, poor or bad deliveries mean that the whole process will delay. In conclusion, the project closeout phase is part of the major areas in the system integration and implementation process because it entails of how the system is incorporated into working.

The closeout process entails three discrete features, the notification, the reconciliation and the documentation. The notification occurs in three different forms. The early notification states of closeout obligations under an ETA grant must be contained in both the grant and the Solicitation for Grant Application agreement. The second is the advance notification of pending closeout; which states that an email should be sent front the Grant Officer to the recipient and has to be less than six months erstwhile the termination of the grant. The remedial action objective is the most important objective in the closeout process. It consists of the specific goals that are followed for the purposes of protecting the human health together with the environment. Another major objective is to accept the products of the project by a sign-off from customer, steering committee and project sponsor as appropriate.
