One is your best worker, the second is a steady performer, but not a standout, and the third is one you feel is a “problem child”. You’ve given the entire department a warning about this. How would you go about disciplining the workers? Provide specific concepts that would influence your decision. Following up on the concept of discipline, under what circumstances (if any) could you envision terminating an employee for a first infraction?

Disciplining employees is a matter of concern in every organization in order to frame employee behaviour in desired manner and raise productivity of employees.
In order to discipline the employees of my organization and to ensure that they behave and perform in the way that is desired I will first provide necessary training sessions that will ensure that employees have a clear picture of what is desired from them. Effective communication is another tool in en-carving employees performance and behaviour.
Even after this step if employees does not exhibit the required behaviour and performance; The necessary steps I will take to disciplining employees of my organization will include following steps:
Terminating an employee for a first infraction might include serious circumstances. The situations like some serious crime at workplace, behaving against litigation, acts of employees lead to some serious consequences and other such conditions mentioned under employment contract of employees.
