1, Ethics in WalMart in KSA include compliance with local laws and regulations, respect for local customs and traditions, maintaining code of conduct at the workplace that does not offend the conservative customer mindsets. Forbidding the items that may offend the religious sentiments of the local population. Maintaining the global standards of Walmart ethical practices but at the same time, being considerate to the local environment. Follow ethical practices of sourcing, community development and contribution to society. Maintaining workplace decorrum and ethics in lines with local laws. Comply with the regulation of employment policies of locals with the company. Maintaining the policy of no alcohol, no bribes, non disclosure and non retaliation for employees to ensure highest standards of professional behaviour at workplace. Make sure that all employees abide by the local laws and customs while on work.
2. The decisions of choosing the suppliers, associates, service providers and consultant should be done taking into consideration the local regulations governing employment and engagement contracts. The operational policies should be double checked for compliance with laws and local customs.
