Algorithm (psuedo-code):

1.) Prompt user to enter the cost of goods.(say cost).

2.) Calculate tax on given cost which is 0.065*cost

3.) Now, total amount = cost of goods + tax; which is given as

total = cost + (cost*0.0065);
