1. Hacker: While sending information, it may be possible that a hacker is able to view the information which may be used against you.
2. All your credit card details can be hacked.
3. Your pins, passwords or emails can be accessed by a third party.
4. If you do file sharing, then you may get n infected virus from a third party (malware).
Measures:
1. VPN: It is much secure and private to its members only.
2. SSL connections: They have additional layer of security which is a contract between user and the organisation.
3. Turn your wifi off when you dont need it.
4. Dont share anything which can be misused against you.
