These policies are more or less same with other countries. Workers are always provided priority when employed. The employers provide benefits to workers. It can be clarified with several laws and regulations like consent of workers is required only in India and Vietnam before taking any decisions but in Sri Lanka, China, USA, UK consent is not required. Similarly, notification to workers representative is required in Bangladesh, China, India, France, Germany but it is not required in Philippines and Malaysia.
2. As the use of electronic communication at work has risen, new ethical issues involving worker privacy has emerged. In my opinion, the employers should not read employee email, inspect their Facebook pages or blogs or access personal files as it relates to the privacy policies which denies employees’ freedom. Again, it is against the values and ethics and philosophy of company as well as employees.

In 2015, only 5% of CEO of S&P 500 companies were women. in my opinion, the factors that explain are women discrimination by companies, preferences of women candidates, and male-dominated society culture which holds back the women for achieving success. Although companies are now promoting the equality in the companies the ratio of male to females is very shocking. It is 1:10 for many companies. So, ultimately the chances of women also decrease in the hierarchical structure reaching top positions.

Government regulations have banned sexual and racial harassment. According to EEOC, sexual harassment is bullying someone in an inappropriate way. It can be in behaviour, gestures, postures, signals, teasing, comments, words etc. It is illegal and unlawful. Racial harassment is discrimination based on race, colour, language, accent, religion, creed, practices, background, clothing, derogative remarks etc.
They are the concern to employers as in 21st-century people are working in a culturally diversified organization where everyone’s sentiments and emotions need to be taken care. Being employers, they should be the role model for others by avoiding any sort of discrimination. The companies can combat sexual and racial harassment by implementing fairness in companies, applying all the anti-discrimination laws, developing policies, providing mandatory training, issuing investigating teams, review each case with parity, diversifying the pool of candidates, promotion and recruitment policies based on employment contracts, removing biases by ensuring privileges to lower section and considering merit.
