An executive manager of a Western multinational corporation, with the objective of raising the value of stocks for investors, moves to one of the African countries to produce a specific fertilizer product The product is necessary to increase agricultural crops, but at the same time is known to be toxic to the environment and hazardousfor human health.   However, the value of the stock is dramatically increasing and the output in agriculture has increased drastically from last year. This also means, stockholders are happy of their investment and the farmers are happy for harvesting high yield crops.

This situation portrays where an effective corporate leader has to solve the complex problem and has to act according to the social ethics and personal consciousness.He has to consider certain aspects in mind and then decide if it is worth doing it.Few perspectives from which he has to analyse the problem is

1.He has to question himself as to whether a toxic and hazardous product worth human life.

2.He knows that the production of special fertilizerfertilized is harmful to the environment as well as the health of people living there.Knowing this he is not supposed to proceed with.

3.This decision also includes the corporate social responsibility of his organization. The image of the organization will definitely come into haze.

4.Such activities cannot be kept as a secret from the public for a long time.Once the public knows about the issues they will definitely react in a violent manner which will cause permanent damage to the organisation.

5.Eventhough the stock holders and few farmers are happy with the result it cannot be sustained for a long period.So the company will be forced to stop its production in one point where it will meet total loss In all terms.

6.Instead the corporate leader can spend and money on research and development which will surely yield positive results.An alternative or a solution can be found to avoid the element being toxic and posing health threats.

7.It make some time to accomplish this but the end result will be excellent.The company or the organisation can withstand for a long period and boast of its achievement for working towards the goodness of the society.
