Question
More often than not, the people that develop a software application are not the people mat will use it. For instance, marine biologists may need a software application to model the migration patterns of different ocean species. The marine biologists don t know how to program, and the programmers do not know what types of data and analyses are relevant to the marine biologists. This makes gathering requirements for a new programming project difficult, and the end result is often scope creep, waited effort, or incorrect algorithms. What are some strategies for avoiding this predicament?Explanation / Answer
There is no chance of create code by the bioogist because they dont about coding. So this should be done by programmers only. The first and important step in the software application development process is Requirments gathering. If we get requirments correctly what we require to complete the project , 20% of project is completed.
But this will happen only by the communication between the client and programmer. For biology projects , the requirments gathering is not sufficient . It also require some analysis and research on it.Otherwise we may get some false reslts or the compelete application failure. The analysis is difficut because we are not familier about biology concepts but the analization of project is necessary for successfull completion of a project.
