Question

A customer calls you and says that he installed a wireless PCIe NIC card on his computer and now he is receiving error messages from Windows Vista about the device. You investigate and discover that when he installed the wireless card, he didn’t read the directions and first used the installation disc that came with the card before physically installing the card. What do you suspect?

A. You suspect a fault in the PCIe bus.

B. You suspect a damaged installation disc.

C. You suspect wireless network interference.

D. You suspect a driver conflict.

Explanation / Answer

The action that user took about first using disc that comes with the disc without first installing disc raised the situation of conflict that's why there is error messgae about the device as we are trying to access something which will be read only after that is physcially present but here is not physically installed yet hence error.
