c. What would you do if you found out that a colleague had posted your slides to a recent presentation on a public slide-sharing platform? How do you define intellectual property rights; when is something yours?

Explanation / Answer

1.

For "Tweens" (8-13), I would choose the below medium:

Television advertisements: For this age group colourful advertisements in television would be more catchy

Social media: Teenagers are quite active in social medias like Facebook ,Twitter etc. Hence I would advertise about the arts center through this media

Men in their 30s:

Internet: Men in their 30s could be quiet active with Internet and hence blogs and articles can be used for advertising for the art centre

Social media: Even social medias can be used for this group including Linkedin

Men in their 60s:

Newspaper and Magazines : Men in their 60s would have a traditional approach and would have got used to reading newspapers and magazines, hence would go with advertising in newspapers

b.I would follow the below steps to for a video post to go viral

- Build the concept for the video first

- The concept has be quite different and attractive

- Bring in characters and practice what each one has to do

- Shoot the video in the appropriate place

- Create an account in all the social website like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn , YouTube ect.

- add as many as people in the account

- Publish the video in these website

- Finally start promoting them through difference media's

c. I would do the below if a colleague had posted my slides on a public slide-sharing platform

First of all, I would explain to the colleague that it is an IP infringement which can be also called as breach of intellectual property

Would also state that it is piracy and against law to post my presentation in the public platform without my permission

Then would ask him/her to remove from the internet

If not will proceed legally

Intellectual property rights:

Intellectual property can be defined as an outcome which comes out of an individual's creativity

it can be literature , artistic work or some inventions

I would classify my presentation under copyright intellectual property rights
