A controversy frequently encountered when considering the role of unions in organizations providing services related to health is whether it is appropriate for professionals to organize unions. This controversy arises almost every time a group of health care professionals is approached by a union. Common examples include registered nurses, medical technologists, physical therapists and physicians. You are to write an essay that either supports or refutes (your choice) unions in organizations that are involved in activities that are related to individual or public health.

Unions in the Healthcare organisation are very common and most of the time each and every healthcare has a specific unions. These unions poses different working structures as well as they act differently according to the demand.
Sometimes these unions are necessary to get the specific demands of the employees towards the organisation. As most of the times employers does not listen to the voice of the employees, having Union inside the Healthcare organisation is very beneficial for the employees to raise their voice against the employers.
As most of the times unions of doctors goes on strike to fight for there rights. Other unions such as the lower class labours which directly work in healthcare organisations are also part of these unions and usually work for the common rights.
Having a union in Public Health Care is definitely a benefit for an employee but misusing the power of a union against the Healthcare organisations to directly gain incorrect powers or for creating an agreement on there an ethical terms it's totally wrong.
I support having a union is important in Healthcare organisations as it provide extensive support to the overall structure of the employees inside the organisation but this is specific type of union should be used correctly and should not be used for unethical terms. These unions provide expensive support to the world structure of the organisation and also helps in mitigating the issues arise between employee and employers. Healthcare organisations are very large in structures and there is very less scope of negotiation for any specific individual. To increase the overall implementation of multiple strategies between employee and employers, unions are necessary.
